Job Summary

Build and productionalize machine learning and Generative AI capabilities that improve CarMax’s omni-channel customer experience. Partner with Data Scientists to design and deploy scalable models, while testing, monitoring, and supporting applications and front-end experiences. Work within the Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering team to turn models into reliable, mission-critical services across distributed architectures using cloud and DevOps practices.

•Develop and deploy Generative AI and machine learning solutions for CarMax’s customer experience.

•5+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
•2+ years designing and developing distributed architectures (e.g., microservices, Kubernetes).
•2+ years leading end-to-end design and development of scalable services with monitoring and production support.
•Proficiency in Python.
•2+ years building enterprise solutions with Microsoft Azure (or equivalent cloud technologies).
