Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and mentor fabrication technicians, providing hands-on training and quality oversight for welding, sheet metal, and machining work.
  • •Fabricate vehicle components, structural assemblies, and custom test fixtures using TIG welding and sheet metal techniques.
  • •Perform and review welds in multiple orientations on aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel, supporting prototype and production builds.
  • •Operate the Flow Waterjet and train others on its use while interpreting engineering drawings to execute accurate builds.
  • •Oversee structural and fluid system assembly, dimensional checks, weld inspections, and NDT-prep (including X-ray and dye penetrant), while enforcing shop cleanliness and safety protocols.
