Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and grow a portfolio of financial institution relationships across the Americas to deliver net new inflows into HSBC liquidity funds.
  • •Identify and convert new business opportunities with banks, insurers, asset managers, fintechs, and other regulated institutional investors.
  • •Serve as primary point of contact for existing clients, managing day-to-day coverage and service standards.
  • •Coordinate with product specialists, portfolio managers, and legal/compliance teams to align solutions to client mandates and regulatory requirements.
  • •Produce sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM management using accurate, up-to-date data.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial experience in institutional liquidity sales or equivalent experience across money market funds, liquidity solutions, cash management, or fixed income products.
  • •Established network with financial institutions in Germany and/or Continental Europe.
  • •Strong understanding of cash and liquidity management and relevant regulatory frameworks including MMF Regulation and Basel III/LCR implications.
  • •Relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills to progress opportunities through mandate conversion.
  • •FINRA licensing/registration readiness including Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent demonstrable readiness to obtain it).
