Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership to a team of Electronics Engineers, driving development and delivery of integrated electronics solutions across self-developed and JDM modules.
  • •Lead design reviews, technical risk assessments, and investigations to make robust engineering decisions early and resolve complex technical issues.
  • •Own and guide development of power electronics, analogue/digital, and microcontroller-based electronic circuits, including design, analysis, troubleshooting, verification, and validation.
  • •Set and uphold engineering standards for performance, reliability, DFM, cost, and compliance with international regulatory standards such as IEC, UL, and EMC.
  • •Align cross-functional teams and suppliers/JDM partners to ensure product and system requirements are understood, prioritised, and delivered through to production.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 8 years’ experience in electronics development with technical leadership and strong design knowledge across areas like power electronics, analogue electronics, high-speed design, digital electronics, and sensing technologies.
  • •Experience with embedded microcontroller-based platforms (8-bit, 16-bit, ARM Cortex).
  • •Experience in high-speed circuit design and using simulation tools for design calculations and tolerance analysis.
  • •Hands-on experience with electronics lab and test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, AC/DC power sources, power meters) and schematic capture/PCB layout tools such as Mentor Graphics.
