Job Summary

Lead the design, architecture, and development of high-fidelity sensor modeling and simulation software for the P-8A Poseidon Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) training systems. Own the full software development lifecycle—from requirements and system integration to verification, validation, and performance testing—while partnering with stakeholders on simulation dynamics and real-world data. Support onsite training devices in Richardson and retrofit customer sites, mentoring others and helping modernize legacy simulation environments.

•Oversee design, architecture, and development of simulation models, visualizations, and simulation platforms/frameworks to improve performance and durability.
•Perform and lead complex sensor modeling efforts, partnering with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and system dynamics.
•Oversee simulation design, modeling, simulation, testing, analysis, and validation/verification/refinement to ensure requirements are met and optimize capabilities.
•Review data collection/processing and analyze system test results, documenting outcomes and modeling against real-world and benchmark data.
•Modernize, migrate, sustain, and update simulation software for new operating systems; advise integration with hardware devices and train/mentor others.
