Job Summary

Serve as a network security specialist for multiple customer environments, owning daily maintenance and operational support for firewall and Prisma-based security services. Troubleshoot traffic flows and firewall issues using packet captures, debugs, and Palo Alto reporting, while supporting change, incident, and problem management. Maintain documentation, meet SLAs, provide escalation to L2, participate in 24x7 on-call, and recommend service/process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide daily steady-state maintenance and operations for customer network security infrastructure using firewall and Prisma security products.
•Support customers through Requests, Changes, Incidents, and Problem records, implementing network security solutions and operational support.
•Troubleshoot firewall and network traffic flows using packet captures and debugs on Palo Alto and Fortinet, and write Palo Alto custom queries for reporting.
•Maintain accurate documentation and complete weekly/monthly health status checks across network security platforms.
•Support 24x7 on-call for high-severity incidents, provide technical escalation to L2, and assist with upgrades/patches and rule set reviews.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of network security administration experience, including expertise with firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, FortiGate/Fortinet, and Prisma SASE.
•Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Prisma, and Fortinet, including troubleshooting firewall and network traffic flows.
•Strong knowledge of Palo Alto URL filtering, vulnerability protection, AV, anti-spyware profiles, and App-ID/app filtering.
•Proven networking knowledge including F5, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, plus switching technologies and template/stack architecture.
•Understanding integrations with authentication protocols such as LDAP, IWA/IWA-direct, SSO, and Active Directory; ITIL certification is a plus.
