Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the monthly close process under US GAAP, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • •Own corporate financial reporting, financial analysis of key general ledger accounts, and audit coordination for the Mexico legal entity.
  • •Manage relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to ensure statutory reporting, audit support, and compliance.
  • •Own balance sheet, intercompany, and account reconciliations, and ensure strong financial controls and reporting accuracy.
  • •Lead and develop a team of three finance professionals while coordinating external accounting partners; champion Finance transformation via NetSuite and AI-enabled automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • •6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience in Mexico, including ownership of month-end close, corporate reporting, internal controls, and audit coordination.
  • •Experience managing and developing accounting professionals with direct people management responsibilities.
  • •Experience reporting under US GAAP within multinational organizations and partnering with US-based Corporate Finance teams.
  • •Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal); CPA (Contador Público Certificado) or equivalent preferred; NetSuite experience highly preferred.
