Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for FACTS, reactive power compensation, and EHV substation systems.
  • •Develop technical specifications, functional requirements, procurement packages, and RFP documents for transmission system applications.
  • •Support Owner’s Engineer assignments, technology evaluations, equipment application reviews, and technical advisory services.
  • •Lead technical bid evaluations, vendor clarification processes, and equipment procurement support activities; review compliance statements, calculations, drawings, studies, and submittals.
  • •Oversee multidisciplinary design reviews and QA/QC, and support FAT/SAT, commissioning, energization planning, and field implementation activities.

  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure.

  • •Expertise in advanced transmission technologies including FACTS (STATCOM, SVC), FSC, shunt reactors, PSTs, and major EHV substation equipment.
