Job Summary

Build and test scalable software for Visa’s global payments technology, working in agile squads to deliver zero-defect backend services and web applications. •Contribute to backend databases and queries, build and integrate APIs, and develop/extend front-end UI components.
•Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and deliver best-in-class software solutions across agile squads.
•Present technical solutions in business terms and communicate status, issues, and risks effectively; work to high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, and compliance.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or at least 5 years with an advanced degree, or 2 years with a PhD (or 11+ years total).
•Java expertise, with experience in REST APIs and JSON.
•Backend experience with J2EE/JDBC/JMS and frameworks including Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot.
•Front-end experience with Angular and React JS, plus Node.JS.
•Experience with CI/CD in Agile development using tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Chef, Sonar, and JUnit.
