Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the dedicated primary client point of contact, managing expectations, deliverables, and timelines for localization projects.
  • •Validate and triage briefs end-to-end, coordinating work between internal/external linguists and internal production/studio teams.
  • •Deliver translation, creative translation, and transcreation scopes from initial scoping through final delivery and billing.
  • •Optimize workflows with task lists, timing schedules, and trackers; update glossaries and maintain translation memories (TMs).
  • •Manage project budgets and costs, including PO handling and client billing, and resolve client issues by escalating complex risks as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Start immediately and have 3+ years of proven experience in localization project management (agency or in-house).
  • •Demonstrated experience briefing and managing internal/external linguists across copy localization projects.
  • •Excellent client-facing communication skills, comfortable working directly with local/international clients and stakeholders.
  • •Deep understanding of creative development and localization workflows, including QA methods and design/layout constraints.
  • •Strong tech literacy using CAT tools and TMS (e.g., XTM/XTRF) with exceptional written/verbal English and Japanese.
