Job Summary

Own financial planning and analysis for multiple business lines, partnering with finance executives to develop budgets and quarterly forecasts. Produce and validate weekly reports, ad hoc profit and loss and GL reporting, and investigate variances using project accounting insights. Maintain quality control for accurate financial records with tools like Oracle and spreadsheets, and support tracking of A/R and WIP with corrective actions. Deliver special projects as requested by management.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and analyze financial performance and profitability for multiple business lines independently.
•Partner with regional business line and finance executives to establish budgets and forecasts.
•Generate and evaluate financial reports, escalating items as needed to finance leads.
•Maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate project-related financial records using Oracle and spreadsheets.
•Apply project accounting expertise to investigate resource, labor, and expense variances; support budgeting, monthly forecast development, and ad hoc reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
•5+ years of operational finance/accounting experience in a dynamic organization, ideally in a professional services environment (e.g., engineering/consulting).
•Strong analytical skills with working knowledge of key financial metrics for consulting/engineering organizations.
•Proven interpersonal skills, trustworthiness, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
•Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle Fusion and Hyperion Planning is highly desired.
