Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead technicians overseeing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair for New Mexico Die Sort within the NM Advanced Packaging manufacturing line
  • •Own safety, quality, scheduling, and conflict resolution, acting as first responder for on-shift issues in the assigned area
  • •Manage shift schedules (workstation assignments/rotations, training schedules, time off, breaks, coverage for absent employees, and overtime assignments) and facilitate goal setting and performance management
  • •Develop and implement resource plans for corrective and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment availability and support equipment install/qualification or demo during ramp or changeover
  • •Coordinate daily workflow across upstream and downstream operations, solve tactical operational issues impacting ramp/output, and partner with engineering/production to run the factory and optimize performance

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED
  • •2+ years experience in an exempt factory-based role at Intel, or 5+ years in semiconductor wafer fabrication/test factory operations at Intel (with 2+ years equipment/operations and 1+ year as a tactical point of contact), or 2+ years as a people manager in semiconductor wafer fabrication/test or other high-volume manufacturing
  • •Willingness and ability to work Shift 4 on a compressed work week schedule (three 12.5-hour shifts plus a fourth shift every other week)
  • •Willingness to work inside the factory wearing required die sort gowning attire for a significant portion of each shift
  • •2+ years technical degree or demonstrated technical leadership, and prior management experience in semiconductor manufacturing (preferred)
