Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee operations and accountability for the Ammunition Supply Point, including storage, inventory, and ammunition surveillance in support of Fort Hood and tenant units.
  • •Supervise receiving, inspecting, stocking, warehousing, and issuance of Class V ammunition and ensure compliance with ASP/Ammunition Surveillance requirements.
  • •Organize daily operations and provide weekly reports summarizing ASP and Ammunition Surveillance internal operations to the Supply & Services Manager.
  • •Guide and develop employees on safety guidelines and counseling/evaluations, and design/manage a comprehensive training plan for installation-supported 89A/89B MOSs.
  • •Operate and maintain logistics information systems and physical security/supply discipline programs, including ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines (e.g., AR requirements).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 80,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive knowledge of Ammunition Supply Point procedures, including receipt, storage, and issue of ammunition and related materiel per military regulations and instructions.
  • •Experience with inspection, stock accounting/control, warehousing, inventory, requisitioning, customer turn-in, packaging/shipment, and ammunition surveillance for munitions management.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of supply/equipment management processes and applicable governmental regulations to ensure accountability of assigned property and commodities.
  • •Knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research to identify improvement areas, plus operational skill with automated systems used at the ASP.
  • •Must be capable of being appointed as an inspector under AMC-R 350-4, Appendix B, and have strong interpersonal communication skills; SAAS-Mod experience is required.
