Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver new product engineering and product sustaining engineering for a product or product group through end of life.
  • •Perform design for manufacturing (DFM) and value engineering to reduce cost and improve yield while engaging early with component and hardware teams.
  • •Structure BOMs and manage BOM risk, including cost avoidance and sustaining cost reduction from pre-A0 onward.
  • •Create, analyze, and release product documentation and participate in technical lifecycle management (e.g., defect reduction, new component qualification).
  • •Lead debug and board bring-up, using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot failures down to board and component levels and provide leadership on complex issue resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience with a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • •Understanding of system hardware architectures, design concepts, and engineering development practices.
  • •Ability to characterize timing interfaces using scope, logic analyzers, and TDR; test, debug, and bring up proto boards.
  • •Experience with Allegro and Valor, including understanding of PCB fabrication process and technology.
  • •Good understanding of end-to-end Printed Circuit Board Assembly and the full product life cycle.
