Job Summary

Join K-Star’s ABF Investment Services team to support Asset-Based Finance investments focused on residential mortgages and consumer loans. You’ll manage and improve data for the desk’s $30bn portfolio by designing automated ingestion and normalization pipelines, maintaining Snowflake databases with SQL-based reporting, and synthesizing multiple data sources into actionable analytics for senior leadership. You will also partner with business stakeholders and engineering teams to reduce turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Asset-Based Finance group with data management for residential and consumer loans.
•Design and develop automated end-to-end pipelines to ingest, normalize, and standardize data.
•Maintain centralized Snowflake databases using SQL to transform/analyze data and create downstream reporting.
•Synthesize multiple data sources to produce analytics and actionable insights for senior leadership and stakeholders.
•Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams to define requirements and reduce turnaround time.

Key Requirements

•Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
•3-5 years of data analytics experience in the financial services industry with exposure to residential and/or consumer data.
•Advanced knowledge of MS suite, SQL, and Python; other programming languages are a plus.
•Strong initiative, organization, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly.
•Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; track record meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
