Key Responsibilities

  • •Own environmental site assessments (ESA) Phase I & Phase II for pre-construction due diligence, coordinating field surveys, sampling, and data handoff for newly acquired parcels.
  • •Support consultants and contractors in the field and with ESA data packages (e.g., wetland delineations and threatened/endangered species assessments) as layouts and expansion efforts change.
  • •Prepare or review data tables, maps, lab packages, and draft report inputs; quality-check field and lab data; and archive field/process notes across air, stormwater, and waste programs.
  • •Own stormwater construction inspections and support environmental compliance needs such as air emission inventories, Tier 2, and annual waste summary data gathering to meet reporting deadlines.
  • •Work with other Environmental Specialists and environmental engineers for regulatory stakeholder inspections, information requests, and ongoing field program compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of professional experience in environmental field work, sampling, environmental data gathering/processing, or compliance support in industrial, construction, or land-development settings.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Experience supporting due diligence and ecological assessments (Phase I/II) in greenfield or brownfield contexts.
  • •Experience supporting environmental compliance tasks such as air emission inventories, community right-to-know/Tier II data gathering, and/or construction stormwater inspection documentation.
  • •Working knowledge of governing programs such as EPA Clean Water Act/NPDES, TCEQ TPDES, and related Texas water quality requirements.
