Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop firmware IP subsystems for SSD products meeting technical spec matrix requirements for performance, endurance, capacity, functionality, and quality/reliability.
  • •Create firmware unit and functional tests to ensure firmware subsystems meet quality, functional, and performance requirements across the product development lifecycle.
  • •Provide consistent, detailed, and accurate summaries of firmware development activities to management and cross-functional team members.
  • •Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and management while improving team involvement and productivity.
  • •Use AI-assisted tools and insights responsibly to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness within scope of work.

Key Requirements

  • •Masters or Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • •4+ years of embedded firmware development and debugging experience.
  • •Recent 2+ years of experience in storage industry, storage systems, or related technology (advantage).
  • •Strong programming and tooling expertise, including C and Rust; programming in Python is an advantage.
  • •Experience with team leadership/mentoring and with storage interfaces (e.g., PCIe/NVMe), plus NAND flash/non-volatile storage (advantages).
