Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer cybersecurity solutions supporting DoD and Intelligence Community information systems.
  • •Design, implement, and document security controls aligned to NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and CNSSI 1253 overlays as applicable.
  • •Build RMF automation: authorization artifacts, evidence collection/validation, reusable security control implementations, and OSCAL-based machine-readable artifacts.
  • •Develop AI-assisted RMF capabilities, including RAG and NLP workflows, documentation inconsistency detection, and AI governance with human-in-the-loop validation.
  • •Integrate cybersecurity controls into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines, and implement dashboards and automation for eMASS, Xacta, ServiceNow, and other cybersecurity platforms supporting continuous monitoring and authorization decisions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High school education with 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, RMF implementation, security architecture, DevSecOps, continuous monitoring, or security automation.
  • •10+ years supporting DoD or Intelligence Community cybersecurity programs.
  • •Required Clearance: Top Secret/SCI.
  • •Required DOD 8140 IAT III certification: CISSP, ISSEP, ISSAP, or CGRC.
  • •Experience with eMASS, Xacta, NIST RMF/DoD RMF/AF IC processes and implementing NIST SP 800-37 Rev. 2, 800-53 Rev. 5, 800-53A Rev. 5, 800-137, 800-30, FIPS 199/200, and OSCAL machine-readable RMF artifacts.
