Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with analytical and modeling tasks supporting the trading, analytics, and marketing teams to help achieve day-to-day trading goals.
  • •Support trading and risk-related projects by completing ad hoc analysis, building simple business cases, and preparing presentation materials.
  • •Work with large datasets to identify trends, spot opportunities, and share insights with trade floor teams.
  • •Collaborate with analysts and traders to develop understanding of energy markets, customers, trading points, and team strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in an analytical discipline (economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics, or computer science).
  • •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • •Experience with MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages, or power flow modelling software.
  • •Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen analytical mindset.
  • •Available for full-time employment for Summer (approximately May–August 2027).
