Key Responsibilities

  • •Implement and enforce the site-specific Safety Plan in accordance with OSHA, EM 385-1-1, and Army regulations, including conducting regular site inspections.
  • •Ensure compliant handling and storage of hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and develop and implement safety policies to minimize accidents and health risks.
  • •Conduct safety orientations and recurring training, ensure PPE and equipment training (including LOTO, incident reporting), and maintain safety training records and certifications.
  • •Lead investigations of accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; maintain incident logs and OSHA reporting documentation; report findings and corrective actions to the Project Manager and COR.
  • •Perform safety audits and job hazard analyses (JHAs), track safety KPIs and submit monthly contract deliverables (CDRLs), and support government inspections.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 48,462 - 82,446

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (4 years’ accumulated college experience) required.
  • •Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, EM 385-1-1, DA PAM 385-10, and Army site safety practices, with willingness to enroll and pass OSHA 30-Hour Certification Course.
  • •Excellent communication, documentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • •Ability to work independently as a safety professional in the absence of a safety manager.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
