Job Summary

Lead the Rochester site and ~100 staff, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time production of fermentation-derived clean label preservatives. Own local operations, production planning, engineering and maintenance programs, and shipping/receiving. •Lead the site and operations team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, quantity, safety and lead time across all production activities.
•Develop and implement group procedures and policies to direct, control, optimize, and monitor fermentation-based production.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Process Sciences, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance to meet key business priorities.
•Partner with Product Management to identify and prioritize production plans and allocate resources accordingly.
•Work with BioFermentation, Process Technology leadership and Growth Pillars to deliver on strategic fermentation capabilities and growth initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 184,000 - 239,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience leading a manufacturing site with a staff of ~100 full-time employees, including oversight of production plans, engineering and maintenance programs, safety programs and shipping/receiving logistics.
•Technical expertise in fermentation and fermentation operations, with experience running both aseptic and hygienic fermentation processes.
•Expertise in downstream fermentation broths, including centrifugation, filtration, evaporation and spray drying.
•Strong people leadership skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams spanning Manufacturing, Process Sciences, R&D, Supply Chain and Finance.
•Ability to partner with Product Management and Kerry’s Strategic Growth Pillars to deliver growth strategy and deploy resources effectively.
