Job Summary

Support the underwriting and execution of senior debt transactions for leveraged finance deals, including acquisition, recapitalization, and refinancing. Perform complex financial analysis and modeling, conduct transaction due diligence, and prepare underwriting memos covering risks, assumptions, and terms. Collaborate with internal partners across deal teams, credit risk, and capital markets while managing multiple transactions under tight deadlines. Provide oversight, training, and development for junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform detailed due diligence on companies, industries, management teams, and other relevant information.
•Build detailed financial projection models to analyze capital structures, performance trends, and credit metrics.
•Prepare underwriting memorandums, including company/industry descriptions, key credit risks, and base/downside case assumptions and terms.
•Coordinate with internal partners across the leveraged finance workflow and maintain strong working partnerships.
•Manage multiple transactions/projects and communicate deal status and prioritization; provide oversight, training, and development of junior analysts.

Key Requirements

•2-3 years of leveraged finance, private equity, investment banking, or related financial services experience.
•Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a concentration in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
•Strong written and oral communication skills.
•Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including Microsoft Excel.
•Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and strong attention to detail.
