Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop electrical systems and/or equipment in line with contractual and company requirements.
  • •Analyse product performance to identify opportunities to improve functionality, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and quality.
  • •Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, material selection, and drive design reviews for electrical systems and cross-domain interfaces.
  • •Investigate technical issues, root causes, and product failures, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Support prototype builds, testing programs, and product verification and validation activities.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated experience in the Electrical engineering discipline.
  • •Electrical engineering degree qualified, satisfying requirements for membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia, and meets requirements for Chartered Engineer.
  • •Experience developing electrical equipment designs, participating in design reviews, and performing typical design analyses.
  • •Ability to support electrical/electronic solution integration, validation, and qualification testing.
  • •Ability to work with teams in multiple geographic locations, with occasional interstate travel based on project needs.
