Job Summary

Serve as an embedded HR Business Partner for a manufacturing facility, overseeing HR programs and policies to strengthen employee relations, performance management, and talent development. Implement HR initiatives around labor relations, benefits and compensation administration, and compliance, while counseling managers and employees on HR policy interpretation. Lead succession planning, analyze workforce data to build business cases, and ensure execution of the facility’s Affirmation Action plan. Supervise HR staff and travel 5–10% as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement and oversee ongoing HR programs, policies, and procedures to improve employee relations and supervisory engagement.
•Supervise HR staff directly or through supervisors, including coaching/mentoring and evaluating performance.
•Partner with the business to identify current and future skills needs and lead succession planning and talent strategy.
•Own compliant execution of the location’s Affirmation Action plan and support AAP goals across employment processes.
•Serve as a primary decisionmaker for policy/contract interpretation; develop solutions to employee and labor relations issues and mitigate legal/compliance risks, including counseling managers and employees.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and 5+ years’ relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
•General knowledge of employment laws and practices.
•Knowledge of HR systems and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and payroll database software.
•Specialized knowledge of HR systems, processes, and procedures, including administration of benefits and compensation.
