Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform security analysis of operational and development environments, including threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces, to assess compliance with accepted standards.
  • •Lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for new and existing information systems.
  • •Facilitate development of MOU, ISA, RAL, and support Continuous Monitoring (CONMON).
  • •Oversee configuration management and audit assigned systems to ensure security posture integrity.
  • •Conduct risk assessments/investigations, execute risk mitigations, lead incident response activities, and act as technical advisor and spokesperson.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully completed a Tier 5 investigation (T5/SSBI) within the last 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Vetting within the last 5 years.
  • •Hold an IAM Level III certification in good standing (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • •5+ years of combined experience and education in IT, cybersecurity, or related fields.
  • •3+ years using security tools/systems for RMF support, including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS.
  • •3+ years leading cybersecurity programs/teams, authorizing risk decisions, coordinating stakeholders, and improving security and compliance.
