Key Responsibilities

  • •Evolve and implement the Strategic Energy Management Plan for Canadian Solid Wood Operations and Canfor.
  • •Coordinate facility energy audits and benchmarking as needed.
  • •Scope, track, and deliver CAPEX projects tied to energy programs and cost-saving initiatives.
  • •Track and report energy usage for monthly KPI reports; set achievable energy management targets.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered professional Engineer (P.Eng) or EIT with relevant experience, Certified Energy Manager, a Master’s degree, or a combination of training (electrician, power engineer, mechanical technologist).
  • •Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
  • •Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Power BI.
  • •Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills.
  • •Project management experience.
