  • •Lead engagement on key AI and technology policy issues and help shape policy environments for safe and responsible AI development and deployment.
  • •Identify and develop partnerships, programs, coalitions, and initiatives to translate OpenAI’s mission and policy priorities into tangible regional impact.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep knowledge of the political, institutional, and technology-policy landscape across Central and Eastern Europe and/or the Baltics in at least one priority market.
  • •Established network and experience building trusted relationships with policymakers, regulators, civil society, and other senior stakeholders.
  • •Strong understanding of EU policymaking and how Brussels-level policy interacts with national politics, regulation, and implementation.
  • •Technology-policy judgment across areas such as privacy, data, competition, copyright, product safety, and consumer protection.
  • •Fluency in English, with professional proficiency in at least one CEE or Baltic language strongly preferred (Polish particularly valuable).
