Key Responsibilities

  • •Embed with power engineers and go-to-market teams to map real workflows and constraints and identify the highest-leverage tooling problems.
  • •Be the first serious user of new FDE and AI tooling on live work to test usefulness, correctness, reliability, and fit.
  • •Turn direct field evidence into requirements, priorities, and acceptance criteria with Product and Engineering as tools are built and improved.
  • •Write Python and SQL, investigate data, build prototypes and integrations, and debug workflows (stepping into high-priority customer work when needed).
  • •Lead U.S. rollout and adoption: onboard/training users, define operating cadence and standards, measure adoption/outcomes, and prevent regression to old ways of working.

Key Requirements

  • •Built and shipped maintainable software within a product-engineering organization and understand product/engineering execution (discover, prioritize, build, test, operate).
  • •Meaningful power or utility context (power systems, utilities, grid technology, or adjacent critical infrastructure) and ability to earn credibility with domain experts.
  • •Fluent hands-on experience with Python, SQL, APIs, data pipelines, cloud systems, and modern developer tooling to investigate, prototype, debug, and ship.
  • •Experience with modern data and AI workflows, including platforms such as Databricks, plus evidence-based approaches to evaluation, security, and correctness.
  • •Strong discovery, product judgement, and the ability to drive adoption of new tools/workflows with busy technical teams under live delivery pressure.
