Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce, coordinate, review and/or approve electrical design plans for complex power plant projects.
  • •Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques to support all project phases from preliminary design to commissioning and record drawings.
  • •Lead larger-scale electrical engineering projects, manage budgets, track hours and expenses, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • •Mentor staff to support growth and professional development and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Develop a client base and identify additional business development opportunities while ensuring QA/QC and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience as a power engineer delivering design for capital projects in power generation.
  • •Professional Engineer license (multiple states preferred).
  • •Strong knowledge of power engineering principles, design/build processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Experience with infrastructure design for power plants (Combined Cycle and Simple Cycle) and coordination with mechanical/civil disciplines.
