Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, improve, and optimize a new data pipeline to handle massive scale for the company’s needs.
  • •Use IaC to build, maintain, deploy, and manage applications and services.
  • •Curate massive datasets, optimize data pipelines, and support efficient querying.
  • •Help engineers understand how the pipeline works and how to leverage it effectively.
  • •Build tools to make ingesting new data a few hours work with AI, and structure the pipeline for self-serve AI Q&A across company needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with data modeling tools like DBT and sqlmesh, and data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • •Experience with Postgres, Clickhouse, and other OLTP/OLAP data stores.
  • •Deep understanding of how data is stored, computed, and how to optimize queries.
  • •Hands-on experience with Terraform and deployment/ops tooling including ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Docker, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • •Strong grasp of modern data pipeline architecture and best practices.
