Job Summary

Design, build, and maintain automated MxTEST regression and functional test suites for Murex implementation, upgrades, and support. Own test data sets across FX, rates, credit, commodities, and equities, execute automated test cycles for releases, and triage failures. Collaborate with functional consultants and SMEs to translate requirements into scripts, integrate MxTEST into CI/CD pipelines, and produce coverage and release sign-off reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and maintain automated regression and functional test scripts using the Murex MxTEST framework.
•Build and manage test data sets covering FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, and Equities.
•Execute automated test cycles for Murex upgrades, patches, and configuration changes; analyze and triage failures.
•Collaborate with business analysts and functional SMEs to translate requirements and test scenarios into automated scripts.
•Integrate MxTEST automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps or similar) and manage defects via Jira/HP ALM, producing coverage metrics and release governance documentation.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of hands-on experience with Murex MxTEST (or equivalent Murex test automation tooling).
•Strong understanding of Murex functional areas including Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Settlements, and Static Data.
•Working knowledge of Murex data model, GOM (Generic Object Model), and workflow configuration.
•Experience using SQL for test data validation and defect analysis.
•Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, HP ALM, or TestRail.
