Key Responsibilities

  • •Cater to residents across the Village including the care home, serviced suites, Spa guests, and other dining events
  • •Prepare and cook food in accordance with food hygiene regulations
  • •Be aware of residents’ dietary needs and respond to menu requests accordingly
  • •Involve in the preparation and serving of meals on the hotplate as required
  • •Maintain a welcoming, safe, and hygienic dining environment for residents

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in a professional kitchen with ability to cater for customers with special dietary requirements
  • •Understanding of health and safety procedures, ideally with an NVQ or City & Guilds and CIEH Level 2 Food Safety Award or equivalent
  • •Open to new ideas with an innovative yet organised approach to cooking, able to stay calm during busy service
  • •Ability to work with others to create and deliver an excellent dining experience
  • •Knowledge of food hygiene regulations and dietary needs of residents
