Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer and develop Splunk and Splunk Apps, including extending apps and integrating Splunk with legacy data sources.
  • •Implement and administer Microsoft security technologies (e.g., Azure Cloud Access Security Broker, Office 365 ATP, Microsoft Defender ATP) within customer environments.
  • •Handle deployment and support of Nessus scan engines and Tenable Security Center, including managing credentials and vulnerability scanning access.
  • •Maintain and manage CB sensors (deployment, operation, maintenance, updates, patches, upgrades) and create watchlists to detect IOCs and malicious behavior.
  • •Serve as a primary responder for managed security customer systems, owning client configuration issues through resolution and documenting vulnerabilities/mitigation within SLA.

Key Requirements

  • •College degree or equivalent training with experience in a Security Operations Center, Managed Security, or client network environment.
  • •7+ years professional experience supporting and maintaining Splunk SIEM systems, including 5-6 years advanced tuning of Splunk SIEM content.
  • •Experience working with Cribl and information security areas such as EDR (enterprise end-point security).
  • •Hands-on experience in EDR (Carbon Black), Vectra, and Microsoft Azure, including Azure Log Analytics or equivalent big data engine experience.
  • •General security knowledge and certificates on Splunk Admin, Splunk Architect, and Splunk Consultant; practical knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
