Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop embedded software running on bare metal and under RHEL-compatible embedded Linux.
  • •Design and modify equipment in cross-discipline teams (software, electrical, control, mechanical) and document designs.
  • •Build software interface code in C, C++, Bash, and Python and programmatically interface with lab equipment.
  • •Collaborate with manufacturing, NPI, field service, and operations teams to support and improve equipment designs.
  • •Supervise the local software team by providing technical guidance, coaching, and performance management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •5 years minimum experience in embedded software interfacing with hardware.
  • •Proficiency in C and C++ plus fundamental electrical engineering knowledge.
  • •Familiarity with lab equipment and schematic/PCB layout concepts.
  • •Comprehension of analog circuitry and experience with Linux/GNU tool chain (as described in qualifications).
