Join Foodics as a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and web applications. You will work across .NET and PHP Laravel stacks, architect backend systems, optimize performance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design teams to power Foodics’ SaaS platform for a global restaurant ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and guide the architecture of multiple backend services and web applications.
•Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across teams to deliver high performing systems.
•Design and implement scalable, secure backend systems with maintainable APIs and microservices (primarily .NET) while supporting PHP Laravel apps.
•Write clean, tested code and contribute to code reviews; mentor junior engineers and drive best practices.
•Research and adopt new technologies, improve performance, reduce technical debt, and enhance observability.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience developing large-scale backend systems and web applications.
•Strong experience with .NET / C# is a must and hands-on experience with PHP Laravel.

•Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
•Experience with relational databases and database design; caching/queuing (Redis); background jobs and asynchronous processing; unit and integration tests.
