Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure production equipment and automation meet safety, food safety, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and perform preventive/predictive maintenance checklists and equipment upkeep/calibration for building and production systems.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and related maintenance issues; assign criticality, prioritize maintenance jobs, and oversee required work.
  • •Manage distribution center repairs and facility inspections (e.g., safety features, fire extinguishers, exits, emergency lighting) and coordinate maintenance for steady operations.
  • •Handle work-orders in CMMS/GSheets, train new hires and Maintenance Associates on complex tasks, coordinate with contractors, and maintain inventories and maintenance logs.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Education in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a food processing/service or manufacturing environment.
  • •Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform regular bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Willing and able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • •Skilled in using basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools; can communicate in English (verbal and written).
