Job Summary

Junior Technical Engineer provides support to senior engineers in selecting and evaluating project materials, ensuring compliance with project specs and local authority requirements. You’ll assist in designing engineering solutions, creating basic drawings, prototyping and testing materials, and maintaining project documentation while coordinating with project teams to uphold quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in providing support in troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions and technical support for engineering projects.
•Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions, creating technical drawings and specifications.
•Assist in prototyping and conducting tests and evaluations of materials, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
•Assist in the preparation and maintaining of documentation, including reports, manuals, and project records.
•Assist in analyzing data and test results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in engineering processes and products.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction best practices.
•Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery.

Key Requirements

•0-3 years of relevant working experience.
•Internship or previous experience in a construction or architectural firm.
•Basic understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
•Basic working knowledge in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000 to create and evaluate structural designs.
•Knowledge of project management software is plus.
