Key Responsibilities

  • •Investigate and solve complex yield, quality, and technology challenges using electrical and physical failure analysis.
  • •Perform fault isolation and failure characterization to identify failure mechanisms and enable rapid yield learning.
  • •Apply semiconductor device physics, circuit behavior, and manufacturing knowledge to establish root causes and drive process/design improvements.
  • •Partner with Product Engineering, Design, Yield Enhancement, Process Engineering, and R&D teams to identify design marginalities and technology limitations.
  • •Support technology introduction, yield ramp, product qualification, and high-volume manufacturing with timely technical insights.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
  • •3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • •Must have knowledge of semiconductor devices, device physics, electronics, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • •Familiarity with electrical/physical failure analysis techniques and tools such as EMMI/OBIRCH/Thermal, SEM, FIB, TEM, or nanoprobing.
