•Propose new methods and refine existing practices to analyze and demonstrate hardware fault metric compliance for AI-driven compute challenges.
•Perform analysis using classical approaches like fault trees alongside model-based techniques to derive application and system-level diagnostic measures.
•Develop automation to support safety analysis of complex multi-layered systems.
•Analyze and interpret internal and external safety documentation to identify improvements toward increasingly challenging safety targets.
•Integrate system, software, and hardware safety analysis methodologies to demonstrate overall hardware safety metrics are met.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 224,000 - 356,500 annually

Key Requirements

•BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•12+ years of experience in systems architecture or related fields.
•Experience working across company boundaries as development partners.
•Experience conducting safety analysis of embedded systems at the hardware and software level, applying the right abstraction for the task.
•Proven competence using qualitative and quantitative safety analysis methods (e.g., FTA, FMEA, FMEDAs) and familiarity with safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/PAS 21448).
