Job Summary

Operate assigned equipment and plant areas to ensure safe, quality, and efficient production. Monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems; perform field checks and sampling; write Safe Work Permits and complete checklists. Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety, and environmental issues, support root cause investigations, and perform minor repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance. Coach and train others and execute immediate response tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow Operating Discipline principles and practices to operate assigned plant areas safely and efficiently.
•Operate and field-check process equipment and monitor process conditions, equipment, and control systems.
•Perform operational tasks per Master Task List, including sampling, area checks, Red Tags, Return to Operations (RTO), and housekeeping.
•Use troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental problems and identify equipment needing maintenance.
•Participate in Root Cause Investigations as required; perform minor repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance; coach and train others on plant operations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent plus one of: Associates degree in Process Technology, 3+ years relevant military experience, or 2+ years industrial manufacturing experience.
•Willing and able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
•Ability and willingness to respond to emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team with a three-year commitment.
•Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
•Ability to work legally in the United States; no visa sponsorship/support is available.
