Job Summary

Manage temporary and permanent site infrastructure for data centre projects in Portugal, coordinating enabling works, access roads, haul routes, entrances, storage areas, utilities, and site access points. Lead daily site progress reviews covering HSE, logistics, and programme delivery; coordinate with contractors, designers, surveyors, PM teams, and local authorities. Track budgets, risks, and resource needs to ensure infrastructure is ready ahead of construction and remains compliant with permitting, environmental, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan, manage, and coordinate all site infrastructure and enabling works activities.
•Oversee construction and maintenance of access roads, haul roads and truck routes, site entrances and security access points, laydown/storage areas, and welfare facilities.
•Coordinate site logistics and traffic management plans for safe movement of personnel, equipment, and materials.
•Interface with contractors, designers, surveyors, project management teams, and local authorities regarding infrastructure requirements.
•Conduct daily site progress reviews for HSE, logistics, and programme progress; monitor performance, manage risks, and track budgets and resources for infrastructure works.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
•Significant experience delivering infrastructure and enabling works on large-scale construction projects; data centre construction experience preferred.
•Strong knowledge of civil infrastructure, temporary works, utilities, drainage, and construction logistics, including security, site access, and haul roads.
•Experience managing multiple contractors in complex construction environments.
•Fluent English and Portuguese language skills.
