Key Responsibilities

  • •Design scalable, performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large projects using MongoDB.
  • •Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies for MongoDB and articulate business value to stakeholders.
  • •Partner with sales to drive account success through technical discovery, demos, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and technical documentation.
  • •Generate demand in the territory through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing activities.
  • •Build long-term customer relationships, foster champions, and continuously improve solutions by relaying field feedback and mentoring others.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of related experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with 3+ years of presales enterprise software experience.
  • •3+ years of experience with modern scripting/programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL and/or C/C++, Java, or C#.
  • •Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
  • •Ability to review complex customer application architectures and provide guidance to improve them using technology.
  • •Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to convey complex technical and business concepts clearly.
