Job Summary

Provide application support and technical guidance for rock drilling tools, working directly with customers, site teams, and channel partners to ensure uninterrupted operations. Recommend suitable tools and solutions, deliver product demonstrations, and monitor tool performance, tool life, and drilling metrics. Investigate tool failures with basic failure analysis, support dealer engineers, and manage inventory planning, forecasting, and logistics coordination to optimize consumables availability and site productivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable rock drilling tools, products, and technical solutions.
•Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and application guidance to customers and site teams.
•Monitor drilling performance, tool life, consumption trends, and drill meterage; investigate tool failures and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
•Support dealer/channel partners with application guidance, troubleshooting, and dealer engineer training and coaching.
•Plan and maintain site inventory: manage forecasts, material requirements, stock levels, procurement, and logistics follow-up (including goods in transit and shipment timing).

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Knowledge of surface and underground drilling applications is preferred.
•3–7 years of experience in mining, construction, heavy equipment, drilling tools, or industrial consumables.
•Experience in application engineering, customer technical support, product support, or field service is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of mining, drilling, construction equipment, or rock drilling tools, plus inventory/material management and consumption monitoring.
