Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaboratively refine research plans and objectives within the FOC-I project.
  • •Perform laboratory flow tube studies on iodine-containing oxygenated organic molecule formation using chemical ionisation mass spectrometry.
  • •Use computational chemistry to investigate molecular structure and thermodynamic pathways forming newly identified molecules.
  • •Support simulation chamber studies, including overseas working (China) for extended periods (up to 2 months).
  • •Analyze and interpret data and disseminate findings through publications, conferences, and research seminars; mentor PhD and project students.

  • •PhD relevant to atmospheric chemistry (or near completion), or equivalent qualifications/experience.
