Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to project sites against approved specifications, material submittals, and contract requirements.
  • •Review and validate material source approvals, delivery documentation, batch certificates, and laboratory test reports prior to acceptance and site use.
  • •Conduct sampling and witness laboratory and field testing for concrete, aggregates, steel, asphalt, soil, and other construction materials per approved inspection and test plans.
  • •Monitor material storage, handling, and protection to prevent contamination, damage, segregation, or deterioration; ensure compliance with approved suppliers and testing labs.
  • •Identify non-conforming materials, raise Non-Conformance Reports, follow up on corrective actions, and maintain organized inspection records, logs, and daily reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in materials inspection, quality assurance, or quality control within the construction industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or Master’s degree (MEng) in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • •In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction standards, local authority procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of construction materials (concrete, aggregates, steel, asphalt, soil properties) and material testing/inspection methodologies.
  • •Proficiency in identifying non-conformances, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining detailed inspection records and quality control documentation.
