Job Summary

Lead and grow the Reference Data engineering team responsible for acquiring, cleansing, reconciling, modelling, and infrastructure for market and security master data. Guide technical direction across regions, ship scalable data ingestion and AI-enabled products, and improve data quality and operational efficiency in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the technical direction in close alignment with product counterparts, direct engineering peers in other regions and the wider engineering community
•Build and manage a team of exceptional engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions that meet client requirements on time
•Be a player-coach who leads the team to build frameworks that supports highly performant ingestion and distribution of financial data and build AI-native products, moving from initial prototype to scalable production services with high velocity
•Advocate for standard methodologies, find opportunities for automation and optimizations in processes to increase throughput , latency and accuracy
•Develop and maintain efficient process controls and accurate metrics that improve data quality as well as increase operational efficiency

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 160,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of proven experience leading engineering teams, 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience as an individual contributor
•A computer science degree or equivalent experience
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
•Prior experience with distributed systems, microservices and messaging queues
•Working knowledge of at least one object oriented programming language (PySpark, Python, Java), relational databases, SQL and data pipelines
