Job Summary

Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain gas measurement and regulation equipment supporting safe, accurate pipeline and facility operations. Work with orifice, positive displacement, Coriolis, ultrasonic, and dry flow meters, plus flow computers, telemetering systems, regulators, odorization systems, and relief valves. Perform measurement and sampling activities, troubleshoot instrumentation, conduct meter calibrations and witness tests, and prepare DOT and maintenance/operational reports while following safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain orifice, positive displacement, Coriolis, ultrasonic, and dry flow meters, regulator settings, telemetering systems, electronic flow computers, odorant systems, and relief valves.
•Perform measurement, sampling, and regulation operations and maintenance at facilities.
•Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment.
•Witness meter calibrations per contractual obligations and support DOT-covered operations, maintenance, and/or emergency response as needed.
•Prepare detailed job orders/completion reports, equipment and operational test/repair/maintenance reports, DOT compliance reports, sample reports, and generate batch tickets.
•Drive and ensure maintenance of company vehicle

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 65,000 - 97,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Training and/or experience with meter testing and installation, regulating flow and pressure, and servicing/repairing measuring station equipment
•Experience interpreting measurement data and reading maps, plats, atlas pages, dials, gauges, sample reports, drawings, procedures, correction tables, and operation/safety manuals
•Ability to install, test, repair, and maintain measurement and regulation equipment
•Ability to use, maintain, and repair tools and equipment used to regulate gas flow
•Ability to safely operate in field conditions, including climbing ladders, working in confined areas, and traveling over uneven terrain
