Key Responsibilities

  • •Personally design, build, test, and support production-quality full stack applications and shared services, leading complex components while remaining a hands-on contributor.
  • •Provide senior technical authority across software architecture, cloud engineering, and application development, guiding decisions across the technology landscape.
  • •Shape platform architecture and evolution, including shared services, application onboarding patterns, integration standards, developer experience, and operational controls.
  • •Develop backend systems in Python and Java and build modern frontend applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • •Diagnose complex production, performance, and integration issues, conduct design and architecture reviews, and mentor engineers across teams and locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive commercial software engineering experience building complex production systems, with expert-level hands-on Python and Java across testing, performance, and maintainability.
  • •Strong hands-on frontend experience with React and TypeScript or JavaScript, delivering production frontend applications.
  • •Experience designing resilient distributed systems using secure APIs, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
  • •Experience designing or evolving extensible application/developer platforms supporting multiple applications and engineering teams, with cloud architecture experience preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
  • •Production experience with containerization and orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, relational and NoSQL databases, security, observability, and reliable operations.
