Job Summary

Lead multimodal transportation planning projects for South Florida with a strong focus on environmental PD&E/NEPA processes, MPO and municipal client engagement, and regulatory coordination. Drive project management, capture planning, and business development, mentoring staff and coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality transportation planning solutions and grow the Florida practice.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide subject matter technical planning support and project management on multimodal transportation, community planning, and environmental planning projects
•Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and planning staff to deliver strategic advisory services and high-quality deliverables
•Lead business development activities, cultivate client relationships, and identify new opportunities
•Oversee capture planning and proposal development for upcoming projects
•Mentor staff and collaborate across disciplines to deliver future-ready transportation planning solutions

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
•10+ years of experience in the transportation planning field
•Strong relationships with state, regional and local agencies in South Florida
•Advanced expertise with consulting practices and coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and technical staff
•Experience with discipline-specific software (e.g., ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, CAD) and strong technical writing skills
