Key Responsibilities

  • •Help design the mechanical systems associated with assigned project(s).
  • •Review mechanical system designs, focusing on function and safety.
  • •Prepare technical documentation including part drawings, FEA reports, and design reports (including FMEA analysis and relevant standards).
  • •Plan and execute testing and commissioning of systems created as part of assigned projects.
  • •Maintain assigned project CAD and PLM data and support integration of systems for compatibility, efficiency, safety, and reliability.

Key Requirements

  • •Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering degree, diploma, or similar.
  • •2+ years of related industry experience (preferred).
  • •Experience with functional safety application design and development under IEC EN 61508.
  • •Baseline understanding of programming logic controlling mechatronic systems.
  • •Proficiency with 3D modeling, CAD best practices, and large assembly management.
